Maryann's Bio

Maryann Doig has worked in the insurance/financial planning industry in various capacities since 1969 and with Shelgren Financial Group, since 1996.

She currently holds a Washington State Insurance License with authorization to sell: Life, Annuities, Health, Disability, Long Term Care, plus Property & Casualty. She also holds the designation of LUTCF, “Life Underwriters Training Council Fellowship” and has participated in the “Life Office Management Association (LOMA)” study courses. She has been involved in Home Office Service, Marketing and Sales. She maintains and manages her own block of insurance business.

For Shelgren Financial Group, she provides the highest level of customer service by using her excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with clients and agents alike. With her numerous years of experience in the industry, she is an excellent source of information and knowledge. She maintains contacts throughout the state in the industry, including at the Office of the Insurance Commissioner. Life insurance is considered her specialty, as well as licensing, registrations, appointments and continuing education. She keeps informed and up-to-date on the companies we deal with and their products. She is an active on-site (no-fee) Notary Public for use by Shelgren Financial Group clients.
