James E. Tremper is a Certified Financial Planner® and has been offering financial advice on a fee-for-service basis to individuals and businesses since 1986.  He specializes in designing, implementing and monitoring all aspects of both pre and post-retirement planning.  He has a unique ability to interpret the complexities of today’s financial world and to integrate those into an understandable, comprehensive retirement plan. 

“I have counseled hundreds of clients over the years and have found that each individual has unique financial goals and objectives.  Retirement is more than just running the numbers through a computer.  Not only are there income needs, portfolio construction and income tax issues to consider, but also the emotional issues that come with retirement.  Balancing the needs and emotions of each client is a big part of my job.”

Jim is an Investment Advisor Representative with Shelgren Financial Group, Inc. In addition, he is a Registered Principal (Series 24), General Securities Representative (Series 7 & 63) with Great American Advisors and holds both life and disability insurance licenses.  He holds a B.A. in Business Administration with a specialization in Accounting from Central Washington University. 

Jim and his wife Lynn reside in Normandy Park and spend their spare time traveling, golfing and motorcycling around the country.
