Robert Sharp

Bob's Bio

Born and educated in Maryland, I joined the Navy Reserve in 1963. In 1968, I became a Baltimore City Police Officer, and was the first 25 year-old Sergeant for that department. I have an AA degree in Criminal Justice and Public Administration.

I moved to the Yakima area with my family in 1984, and worked for The Yakima County Superior Court from 1984 to 1988. I have three grown children living in Yakima and Selah. My daughter is a registered nurse, my eldest son is a Yakima Police Officer and his twin brother is a Nationally Registered EMT working for the Yakima Heart Center and ALS Ambulance.

I am a Registered Representative with a series 6, 63 and 65 securities designation. My Washington State Insurance License is for Life, Disability and Property and Casualty. I began my career with the Prudential Life Insurance Company in 1988. In 1995, I joined The Shelgren Financial Group. I have completed the National Life Underwriter Training Council courses in Personal and Business Insurance, Life Insurance Marketing and have a LUTC Fellow designation.
